Once rate information has been added on the store information screen's Lease Tab, sales reporting requirements can be added for the store.
In this example we are going to set the "Sales Reporting" to monthly with the next date due to be "10/2/2002". The property management company, for this example, also requires an annual sales report due "1/30/2003".
Adding Sales Reporting
There are two types of sales reporting supported in LeaseTool, Sales reporting and Annual Sales reporting. The main difference between the two types of sales reporting is the icon which is displayed on the calendar. The default sales reporting icon is while the default Annual sales report icon is .
Sales Reporting - The Sales Reporting combination box gives the options of "None" , "Monthly", "Quarterly", "Semi-Annually" and "Annually". To select sales reporting:
1. Use the date selector located next to the sales reporting combination box to set the next date due to be "10/2/2002". When the date box is modified an icon will appear on the LeaseTool control screen's calendar. The sales reporting only lists the next due date, as not to clutter the calendar with icons.
If "Annually" sales reporting is selected from the sales reporting combination box, the Annual sales reporting required check box disappears, however the icon which will appear on the calendar is still the sales reporting icon.
Annual Sales Reporting - In LeaseTool's default condition, an annual sales report is not required, so to add a annual sales report:
1. Click on the Annual sales report required check box. When this box is checked another date selector appears.
2. Select "1/30/2003" in the annual sales report next due date, date selector. When the date box is modified an icon will appear on the LeaseTool control screen's calendar. The sales reporting only lists the next due date, as not to clutter the calendar with icons.
